Cheryl A. Munoz is the president and owner of Zephyr Investment Management. She has risen through the ranks of Zephyr since 1996 and became president in 2013. With more than 17 years of experience, Cher’s goal is to create inspiring financial plans for clients to help them live purposeful lives. She gets great joy at seeing clients realize their goals and dreams.
Her strength is assisting individuals and businesses in growing their wealth by investing in the stock and bond markets while at the same time having a fighting chance of avoiding wealth-decimating declines. After all, that’s really what most people want.
Cheryl graduated with honors from California State University at Northridge and holds an MBA® in finance from Pepperdine University. In 2006, she was inducted into Pepperdine’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society that recognizes the academic achievements of the world’s best business students and provides the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive.
She is one of the few who have received recognition as a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, completing an intensive three-year program covering economics, financial statement analysis, equity research and analysis, and portfolio management and design. She is also a licensed general insurance and variable annuity agent, as well as a Registered Securities Principal. She holds her securities registrations though FSC Securities Corporation, a registered broker/dealer and member FINRA/SIPC. She also writes and speaks about financial topics in a manner non-financial individuals can understand.
Cheryl lives and works in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village area with her husband, Rick, and two children. She enjoys hiking, camping, Pilates, and reading personal finance books.
Marsha L. Roubidoux, CFP®
Financial Advisor and Investment Strategist
The founder of Zephyr Investment Management, Marsha commits her knowledge and more than 30 years of experience to help clients accumulate, manage, and grow their assets, and to improve the quality of their lives. Her decades of experience enable her to explain complex investment and financial topics in an understandable way as she guides each client through the process of selecting an optimal investment strategy. Marsha’s financial advice is based on sound economic fundamentals, favorable tax considerations, and disciplined investment management techniques for risk reduction and capital preservation.
The majority of Marsha’s clients began working with her long before reaching their retirement years. As a trusted advisor, she has helped clients at every stage in life navigate through many life changes, market shifts, challenges, and opportunities. Marsha’s primary goal for her clients is to create an inspiring financial strategy designed to help them live the lives they want for the reasons that are important to them.
Marsha earned a Certified Financial Planner(CFP®) designation in 1985, and she is a licensed general insurance and variable annuity agent, as well as a Registered Securities Principal. Marsha lives and works in Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village area with her husband, Pete. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities, including racquet sports, camping and golf.
Vanessa M. Moore
Vanessa M. Moore, is a Financial Advisor, specializing in retirement plan consulting. Vanessa has a background in marketing and non-profit management. She transitioned to the financial services industry in 2008, joining the Los Angeles office of 401(k) and 403(b) Advisors. At 401(k) and 403(b) Advisors, Vanessa consulted with clients in both the non-profit and for profit sector. Vanessa brings her expertise with retirement plans to Zephyr Investment Management, helping plan sponsors navigate their complex fiduciary responsibilities. At the plan level, she helps employers with DOL/IRS compliance issues, plan design, fiduciary training, human resource best practices, vendor troubleshooting, fee benchmarking, investment oversight and more. At the participant level, she works directly with employees, helping them to maximize the benefit of their employer-sponsored plan and achieve their retirement savings goals.
Vanessa has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and currently holds her securities registration through FSC Securities Corporation, a registered broker/dealer and member of FINRA, SIPC.
In her spare time, Vanessa runs a clothing distribution program called Caring Closets, which distributes thousands of items annually to low income families through the Westminster Free Clinic. She lives in Westlake Village and enjoys having an active lifestyle.
